The Ghosts of our Xmas Do's Past!

Slight embarrassment here as I am still awaiting some photos of our 2015 Xmas Do at The Cap in Hand from Zuszanna. It was an emotional evening on 22nd of December 2015 as we said goodbye to our post match watering hole for many years. The Cap was likely a victim of the pub company's rationalisation program. Paul Durrant, when hearing the news of the pub closure sent out an email entitled "The End Of The World As We Know It!"

Anyway, life must go on. Chess players usually have two key requirements post match:-

1. Real Ale

2. Cheap Prices!

To meet these demanding criteria we have decamped to The Coronation Halls in the middle of Surbiton town centre.

Meantime, while I forlornly await the 2015 photos, I present on this page some photos from three of our previous Xmas meal events. One might say that they are the ghosts of our Xmas do's past, sitting beside the ghost of our late, lamented, Cap In Hand!
